Sunnyside Country Club

Sunnyside Country Club, a private 18-hole course in California, United States, was designed by William P. Bell and opened in 1911. The layout stretches 6,950–7,000 yards to a par of 72, with tree-lined fairways, bentgrass greens, and bunkering throughout. Hole 3 ranks among the toughest holes in the central valley, and hole 18 is a risk/reward finishing par 5. The course received the Golden State Award from the Northern California Golf Writers in 2004, and has hosted the 1981 United States Junior Amateur Championship, the USGA National Junior Championship, the California State Open, the Fresno City Amateur, the Girls Junior America's Cup, the NCPGA Pro Scratch, and the Fresno Women's Open Golf Tournament. A driving range is on site, expanded following changes to the configuration of holes 3 and 4. Experienced instructors are on staff, with lessons open to the public. The clubhouse includes a restaurant serving daily dining with a creative, seasonal menu, plus a pool and card room.
