Sun 'n Lake Golf Club (Turtle Run)

Voted the number one golf course in Highlands County four years running, Sun 'n Lake Golf Club (Turtle Run) is an 18-hole, par-72 layout in Florida, United States, designed by Charles Ankrom and opened in 1999. The course plays through narrow landing zones, moguls, and deep sand traps, with a Scrub Jay Preservation Area woven into the property. Practice options include a driving range with grass and artificial hitting areas, two putting greens, a short game area with a practice bunker, and golf lessons from three PGA members and one PGA Associate on staff. The pro shop carries Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, Adams, Ashworth, FootJoy, and Adidas. The Island View Restaurant serves hearty classics, fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks, and seasonal specialties, and a banquet hall is also on site.
