Description
Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 70 upland course measuring 4,956 yards, designed by Tom Morris and opened in 1888 in Strathpeffer, Scotland. The course sits on moorland and mountain terrain, with panoramic views down the Peffery valley to the Black Isle and westward to the Fannich hills. Hole 1 carries the longest drop of any opening hole in Scotland. In September 1907 the club hosted exhibition matches featuring Arnaud Massy and Alex Herd. The clubhouse dates to 1903 and is known for its informal and friendly atmosphere.
