Stocks Golf Club

Stocks Golf Club opened in 1992 as part of Stocks Country Club and was redesigned in 2012 into an 18-hole championship layout measuring 6,800 yards off the tee, playing to a par of 73. The course is built on chalk downland, which gives it exceptional drainage and makes it playable in virtually all conditions — temporary tees and greens are not a feature here. Snow is the only real obstacle. Its primary challenge comes from the rough, which can be impenetrable but doubles as a habitat for indigenous wildflowers and ground-nesting birds. Skylarks are a particularly notable presence, adding a distinctive character to a round at this English downland course.
