Stockport Golf Club

Stockport Golf Club is a semi-private 18-hole course in Stockport, England, designed by Sandy Herd and opened in 1905. The layout runs through rural woodland with streams and ponds in play, stretching between 5,518 and 6,373 yards at par 71. The course has hosted the Open Regional Qualifier, County Championships, Stockport Salver, and Cheshire Cat. The 14th is a noted hole on the back nine. A putting green is available for warm-up. Rated 4.8 by 60+ Hole19 golfers. The clubhouse includes the New Harry Colt Suite — a large bar with soft seating, bar stools, bi-fold doors, Sky Sports TVs, and a fully stocked bar. The restaurant serves an extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu most days, with group booking, banqueting, corporate, afternoon tea, and luxury buffet options available on request. A well-stocked Pro Shop is on site.
