St Francis Links

St Francis Links is a resort links course in Saint Francis Bay, Eastern Cape, South Africa, designed by Jack Nicklaus and ranked among the top seven courses in the country. The layout moves through dunes and wetlands, with water hazards and bunkers shaping play throughout. Hole 7 requires a carry over water to a narrow landing area, hole 8 plays down the narrowest fairway on the course, and hole 11 sits between a dune system with a large hollow to the left. Hole 17, a par-3 with the village as a backdrop, is one of the course's most distinctive holes. Practice options include a 280-metre driving range with 20 bays, bunkers, and target areas, plus a 1,000-square-metre putting and chipping area adjacent to the clubhouse. PGA Professional lessons can be booked in advance. The Pro Shop carries apparel, equipment, and accessories and offers club fitting and repairs. The clubhouse restaurant serves à la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Jack's Bar is open Tuesday to Sunday with breakfast, lunch, dinner, live music, and sport. A Halfway House serves breakfasts from 07:00 and snacks during rounds. St Francis Links is one of the most-played courses in Eastern Cape on Hole19.
