Inexpensive, very forgiving front 9 so good for new players

The course is in decent condition but it’s the little things that are missing like sign posts to the next tee, a starter, bunkers with a rake, some times bunkers with sand. There is certainly a lack of consistency. The start is like the Wild West. They insist on the cancellation fee when you can’t make it, I get that but you then can’t send groups out from the tenth hole that are bound to hold up those making the turn at nine. It is not nearly as well priced as it was especially when each rider has to pay $15.

Good challenge but they have a habit of sending people off on the back nine while people are making the turn, creating much longer rounds from the back. Not cool

Played Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10:40pm. I always have a good time at Springfield. It’s the perfect course to work on your game. Be it your drivers or irons. The weather was beautiful and the greens were watered well, allowing them to play true. Clubhouse is stocked with water, Powerade, sodas. For beer and alcohol you’ll need to register and pay $3 at least 72 hours prior. Annoying but not a real hassle is you know. Enjoy.
