Spring Meadows Golf Club

Set in Gray, Maine, Spring Meadows Golf Club is an 18-hole public course designed by Bradley Booth and opened in 2001. It has earned New England's Golf Course of the Year for 2021 and Golf Digest recognition as a venue worth the drive, and it ranks as one of the most-played courses in Maine on Hole19. The layout makes regular use of wetlands. Hole 3, the longest and most difficult of the par 5s, carries a second wetland hazard. Hole 13 plays to an island green surrounded by wetlands. Hole 6 is a par three that requires a carry to a green with a right-to-left slope. Hole 16 is a par three where a horseshoe bunker guards the back of the green. PGA-certified instructors are available for individual and group lessons at all skill levels. The Players' Lounge serves as the 19th hole, with food, beverages, and 16 beers on tap. A golf shop is on site, and a restored 1922 barn functions as an event center for weddings and social gatherings.
