Spring Brook Country Club

Spring Brook Country Club is an 18-hole, par-70 private course in Morris Township, New Jersey, stretching to 6,600 yards and designed by Walter J. Travis, who opened it in 1922. Armstrong Pond is central to the course's most distinctive stretch: holes 9, 10, and 11 form "The Gauntlet," three consecutive par-3s that surround the pond. The club has hosted the New Jersey State Open, New Jersey PGA Championship, U.S. Open Qualifier, and NJ State Amateur. Practice facilities include a driving range with 25 hitting spots and the Flagd measurement system (open mid-March through November), a 6,000-square-foot putting green open year-round, a chipping green adjacent to the 6th hole, and an extended short-game area on the Old 14th Hole. Lessons are available at each facility. The 28,000-square-foot clubhouse sits on a hilltop with views of the course and Armstrong Pond. Dining options include Travis Tavern, the Main Dining Room, the Armstrong Room, and the Grille Room with a covered terrace. The Golf Shop covers apparel, equipment, club fitting, repairs, and storage.
