Spalding Golf Club

Spalding Golf Club hosted the English Golf Union Junior Champion Club Tournament in 2007, and the private parkland layout in Surfleet, England that staged it remains a well-appointed 18-hole course playing to par 72 from a maximum of 6,457 yards off the Black tees. Tree-lined fairways lead to small, undulating greens, and water is a recurring factor throughout the round — most notably the river Glen, which comes into play across the layout. Practice options are extensive: a large putting and chipping green, a dedicated short game and bunker area, and a six-hole academy course with professional coaching available. The newly refurbished Pro Shop stocks Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Motocaddy and Powakaddy, with clothing from Ping, FootJoy and Adidas, plus club repair and custom fitting services. The Lounge Bar looks out over the course.
