Sobu Country Club

Sobu Country Club is a 36-hole hillside layout in Machida, Tokyo, routing along the ridgelines of the Tama Hills through dense woodland. The course makes full use of the natural terrain, presenting a varied mix of uphill and downhill holes, doglegs, and water carries. Fairways roll and undulate throughout, with mounds rising toward the rough and out-of-bounds lurking in ways that are not always obvious from the tee. Accuracy off the tee matters more than raw distance here. Many of the holes run on the shorter side, but each carries its own character, rewarding careful course management over power.
