Description
Śląski Klub Golfowy in Siemianowice Slaskie was founded by graduates and staff of the University of Silesia. The course was built in stages as funding became available, with the first four holes opening on 7 June 1997. A grant from the Regional Environmental Protection Fund helped complete the original 9-hole layout. In autumn 2006, work began to expand the course to a full 18-hole, par-72 layout covering more than 40 hectares. The expansion was completed in time for the VI Open Silesian Championship in September 2007, which was held on the finished 18-hole course.
