Skibbereen & West Carbery Golf Club

Skibbereen & West Carbery Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-71 public parkland course in County Cork, Ireland, opened in 1993. The layout moves across hilly ground with lakes, bunkers, trees, and out-of-bounds in play throughout. Hole 8 is a par 5 with out-of-bounds right and trees left along the fairway, the green then sitting with a lake to its left and out-of-bounds to its right. Hole 12 is a short par 5 reached after climbing to the top of a hill, with views over the surrounding countryside and tight fairways leading to a green bunkered on the right. Hole 17 is a long par 3 flanked by bunkers left and right. Practice facilities include a driving range and PGA coaching, with introductory schemes covering Men's Hi-Low, Ladies Get into Golf, and Juvenile lessons. The clubhouse has a fully-licensed bar and a dining and TV room with a food menu available during summer months, plus locker rooms with shower facilities for both gents and ladies. The course is rated 4.6 by 50+ Hole19 golfers.
