Silkstone Golf Club

Silkstone Golf Club, designed by H Fulford and opened in 1905, is an 18-hole semi-private course in Dodworth, England. It plays between 6,363 and 6,536 yards and is rated 4.6 by 80+ Hole19 golfers. Practice facilities are extensive. The driving range includes a 3-bay covered area with illuminated bays and power points for video or tracking equipment. A short game area offers a chipping zone with bunkers, a two-tiered green, and a practice putting green beside the first tee. A Golf Academy runs low-cost group and individual coaching sessions covering putting, pitching, chipping, bunker play, iron play, and woods. The clubhouse restaurant serves breakfast from 08:30 to 12:00, a lunch menu made on site using locally sourced produce, and homemade cakes daily. Fish and chips are available every Friday from 12:00 to 18:00, and a carvery roast dinner runs two Sundays per month. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are catered for. The Bunker Room bar is open daily and is dog-friendly. The golf shop carries a large selection of equipment with professional fitting available. The club holds SafeGolf accreditation for 2025 to 2026.
