Shizukuishi Golf Course (Maple)

Shizukuishi Golf Course (Maple) is an 18-hole hillside layout in Shizukuishi, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, set against sweeping views of Mount Iwate. Most holes play through natural woodland lining both sides of the fairway, giving the course a forest-corridor character across gently rolling terrain. The fairways are generous in width, but wayward tee shots quickly find trouble among the trees. Five strategically placed ponds add another layer of demand, requiring precise ball-striking throughout the round. The greens are a single bentgrass design — large and notably undulating. Self-play with a ride-on cart is the standard format; caddie service is available by advance reservation.
