Description
Shanghai West Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China, designed by Tsutomu Irie, one of Japan's most celebrated professional golfers. Irie built an exceptional record across more than 30 tournament victories in Japan and internationally. He is particularly remembered for shooting a 59 on the opening day of the 1985 Kuzuha International Tournament in Japan — a record that stood untouched for over 25 years. Irie's design vision was brought to life by head course engineer Takaichi Goto, a leading golf course construction engineer in Japan.
