ShadowBrooke Golf Course

ShadowBrooke Golf Course is a public par-72 layout designed by Joel Goldstrand, situated just west of the Twin Cities along Hwy 7 in Minnesota — and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Minnesota. The course was built in 1993 by Tom Schmidt and his father Elmer, and remains a family operation today, now run by Tom and his youngest son Tyler. In 2024, the par-4 13th hole was extended by nearly 100 yards and converted to a par 5, creating a routing of six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s across the 18 holes — a layout found nowhere else in the state. The original farmhouse serves as the clubhouse, and several of the property's historic buildings still stand, giving ShadowBrooke a distinct character that sets it apart from a typical public course.
