Shadow Hills Golf Club (North)

Shadow Hills Golf Club (North) is an 18-hole par-3 course in Indio, California, designed by the Schmidt-Curley architecture firm. The course was built to work with natural plant materials that require less water and support ecologically friendly agronomic practices. Turfed with Hybrid Bermuda grass and accented by flowering shrubs, roughly 40 percent of the layout is covered in turf, with the remainder given over to water-efficient native materials. Holes range from 135 to 210 yards, making precision iron play the defining skill here. Water features, fairway undulations, and multiple tee boxes add variety, giving beginners an approachable round while offering seasoned golfers enough challenge to keep them honest.
