Sendai Hills Golf Club

Sendai Hills Golf Club is a 27-hole hillside course in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, spread across three distinct nines: Nakayama, Yaotome, and Izumi. Nakayama opens with a left dogleg par four, then moves to a par five where water sits in front of the tee and again short-right of the green. The fifth hole brings another left dogleg, with a large pond guarding the left side of the green. Each hole on this nine offers a different challenge, keeping club selection and shot shape constantly in play. Yaotome features numerous water hazards combined with gentle downhill and uphill lies, plus further doglegs. The changing ball positions throughout the round demand careful attention to both alignment and aim on every shot. Izumi is the shortest of the three nines in terms of distance, but water comes into play on seven of its nine holes, placing a premium on accuracy and course management over raw power.
