Sea Pines Resort (Harbour Town) has hosted the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, one of the PGA Tour's longest-running events, and that tournament pedigree shapes how the course is built and maintained. Designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, the 18-hole layout in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina plays to a par 71 and stretches to 7,131 yards. It appears on Golfweek's Top 200 Resort Golf Courses in the U.S. Hole 4 is a Pete Dye risk/reward design: there is room to bail out right, but a hidden bunker sits behind the green to catch the aggressive approach. The Harbour Town Clubhouse includes a pro shop stocking golf apparel, footwear, and accessories, a 4,000 square-foot professionals locker room open to golfers year-round, and the Pete Dye Room, a museum-like exhibit on Dye's life and work. Instruction is available through individual lessons, resort schools, daily clinics, mental game coaching, and the Tim Cooke Mini School.
