Great halfway house that does cooked breakfast buns and has very friendly staff. Course is average-to-good. It is looking a little tired here and there but generally it is the heatwave that has done most damage, similar to everywhere. A little water on some of the Par 3s, and hugging Out of Bounds in places. Seemed to be a bit of a free-for-all with a few slow groups on this summer Sunday morning before the competition started.

Lovely course and it might be the best condition I’ve seen.

Really good course. First time with fairway mats which we didn’t use that much. Mainly cos I wasn’t in the fairways that often. Enjoyed it though.
