Set among a sand dune system on the coast of England, United Kingdom, Saunton Golf Club (East) is an 18-hole links course that opened in 1920. The dunes shape the layout throughout, creating natural elevation changes and exposure to the elements that define links golf at its most authentic. The East Course appears regularly in rankings of the World's Top 100 golf courses. It has hosted the 1937 English Amateur, the British Ladies' Championship in 1932, and the R&A Women's & Men's Senior Amateur Championship in 2024. Hole19 golfers rate it 4.9, based on 60+ reviews.
