Satsuma Golf Resort

Satsuma Golf Resort, located in Satsuma, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, has hosted a pro tournament on its 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by Yasukichi Yasuda and Shiro Kawamura. The course plays across hilly terrain, stretching from 5,748 to 6,961 yards depending on tee selection. Hole 16 is the designer's most deliberate creation: a pond and bunkers placed with precision, a two-tier green with a steep slope, and putting that demands full concentration to the end. The resort clubhouse includes a large communal bath with sauna, an open-air bath, a karaoke room, a recreation room with two mahjong tables, two table tennis tables, three billiard tables, a kids' room, a banquet hall, a shop, and a meeting room.
