Description
Built on a former landfill with steep side slopes, Sassamon Trace Golf Course in Natick, Massachusetts presents an unusual 9-hole layout shaped by its terrain. The ground beneath the course gives it an uneven character that plays out across every hole. Hole 3 is a particular test of shot selection: the prevailing wind runs right to left, opposite the direction the hole is designed to be played, putting club choice and ball flight under pressure. The course is one of the most-played courses in Massachusetts on Hole19. Junior golf instruction is available on site, with lessons offered for two age groups — players aged 6 to 9 and players aged 10 to 16.
