Sand Creek Station Golf Club

Sand Creek Station Golf Club, a public 18-hole course in Newton, Kansas, was designed by Jeff Brauer and stretches to over 7,200 yards. Sand Creek borders the layout, with water hazards, ponds, and fairway bunkers shaping play throughout the round. Several holes draw on classic golf architecture. Hole 16 recreates the famous Road Hole green, while hole 17 replicates the Redan from North Berwick, Scotland. Hole 9 features a small platform green typical of early American courses, and hole 10 is a long par 5 requiring negotiation of water on all three shots. Hole 18 closes with a long par 4 demanding a tee shot to a narrow fairway between flanking bunkers. The course hosted the 89th U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Kansas. The pro shop includes a Junior Corner with junior clubs available at no charge.
