  ⭐ Disappointing Customer Service at Saddlebrook Golf Course I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced at Saddlebrook Golf Course today. We came out hoping to play nine holes. I spoke with the attendant and told him I would be right back. I completely understand their policy of not releasing carts after 6:00 PM—rules are rules. My playing partner went inside, got a cart, and called me. I told him I was literally turning into the parking lot. I walked in at 6:03 PM. Yes, I was three minutes late, and I take responsibility for that. But considering that the tee was already backed up and my partner had already been given a cart, I was surprised there was absolutely no flexibility—especially when we were simply trying to get a few holes in before the evening was over. What made it more disappointing is that I’m not someone who randomly showed up for the first time. I spend money at Saddlebrook at least twice a week because it’s convenient to my home. I’ve consistently supported this course. I was there with my kids, trying to spend some time together and play a few holes. Instead of trying to find a reasonable solution for a regular customer, we were simply turned away. Policies matter, but customer service and relationships with your regular customers matter too. Sometimes three minutes and a little common sense can make the difference between keeping a loyal customer and losing one. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression.
