For the time of year & the cost of a round of golf at Rye Hill, Rye Hill Will always be up there as one of my favourite courses. Always so friendly & welcoming. A little trait that a few of our “other” local courses would do well to learn when it comes to welcoming visiting amateur golfers.

Condition poor. Fairways not properly cut, greens blasted with holes, hard to tell fairways from rough. No food available. Disappointing.

Good course. A good challenge with some very nice holes. Fairways need to be cut more regularly but otherwise good quality. They might keep cut them less during the wetter months. Greens need a bit of work as some putts are a lottery. By no means terrible but something the club can improve on. Price for a round however is excellent so definitely recommend playing there.
