Description
Rum River Hills Golf Club is a semi-private 18-hole course in Ramsey, Minnesota, designed by Joel Goldstrand and opened in 1986. The layout plays to a par 71 across rolling terrain with water guarding greens and fairways, undulating greens, and conservative greenside bunkering. The course has hosted a range of tournaments including the 1995 Minnesota PGA Senior Championship, the 2005 State Men's Senior Public Golf Association Championship, the 2006 State Senior Women's Public Golf Association Championship, and the ongoing Rum River Hills Scholarship Pro-Am and Minnesota PGA Fairway Foundation Tourney. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Minnesota. A full driving range and practice area are available on site, along with golf lessons from a PGA Professional. The clubhouse includes a professionally stocked pro shop and McDuff's Restaurant, known for burgers and a varied menu.

Cindy HouserAugust 15, 2016It is a quiet course but badly maintained and with too many water hazards jutting into or completely crossing the fairways to be enjoyable unless your are a low handicap player. What a miserable experience, especially while being eaten alive by gnats.
