The course has hosted the Volvo Golf Champions (January 2011) and the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship (2025). Practice facilities include a 350-yard double-ended shaded driving range with a grass tee, a large putting green, and a chipping green with two practice bunkers. The Royal Golf Academy runs Indoor Swing Studios for private tuition and club fitting. A fully stocked golf and leisure pro shop is also on site. The clubhouse includes an award-winning international restaurant, a family-friendly pizzeria, a café, two meeting rooms, and a purpose-built function room.
