Roscommon Golf Club

Roscommon Golf Club, founded in 1904 on the historic Mote Park Estate in County Roscommon, Ireland, began as a nine-hole layout before expanding to its current 18 holes in 1991 when members acquired an additional 58 acres. The course plays to a par of 72 (73 for ladies) over a championship distance of 6,067 metres. Mature trees from the original estate have been preserved alongside strategically planted new growth, adding both character and strategic challenge from tee to green. Water features come into play on the 1st, 9th, 12th, and 14th holes, bringing variety to the round. One of the course's strengths is its broad appeal: it is forgiving enough for higher handicappers while offering a genuine test for scratch golfers and low handicappers alike.
