Rock Island Arsenal Golf Course holds the distinction of being the first golf course in the Quad Cities area and one of the most historically significant in the United States. Situated on Arsenal Island in the Mississippi River, the 9-hole layout features bent grass greens and fairways. Originally accessible only to a select few from 1897 through 2010, the course is now open to the public, giving golfers the chance to experience more than 120 years of history. A clubhouse on site offers dining with fresh food and attentive service.
