Riverside Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course in Edmonton, Alberta, owned and operated by the City of Edmonton and one of the most-played courses in Alberta on Hole19. Set in the North Saskatchewan River valley, the course was built on a former coal mining site and has been in operation for over 60 years. That history shapes the course in a practical way: the ground beneath the greens continues to shift, meaning putts that worked last season may break differently this year. Tree-lined fairways demand careful shot selection from golfers at every level. The North Saskatchewan River comes into play as a water hazard just metres from several fairways, adding a consistent test throughout the round.
