Description
River Oaks Golf Club was carved from 800 pristine acres along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway in Carolina Forest, South Carolina. Designed by Gene Hamm and Tom Jackson, the 18-hole layout is split into two nines — Fox and Otter — each named for animals found on the land when the course was developed. Both nines were built to challenge golfers of all skill levels, making it a solid choice whether you're a local regular or a visitor passing through the area. Linda YoungApril 10, 2025Course was in decent shape although the greens could have been a bit smoother. We were a foursome constantly waiting for three some in front of us. Almost a complete hole empty in front of them. Evidently Marshall did not see need to give them a boost!
