River Hills Golf & Country Club

River Hills Golf & Country Club is a public 18-hole course in Little River, South Carolina, designed by Tom Jackson and opened in 1989. It earned a place on Golf Digest's Best New Courses list and Golfweek's Top 50 in the Southeast, and is rated 4.3 by 50+ Hole19 golfers — one of the most-played courses in South Carolina on Hole19. The layout moves through rolling terrain with dynamic elevation changes, mature forests, towering pines, and freshwater wetlands. Hole 17 is a par-5 double dogleg requiring two water carries. Hole 14, a par-4, demands precision from tee to green. Practice options include a state-of-the-art driving range, putting green, and a chipping and pitching green with a practice bunker. Instruction is available from several professionals qualified to teach golfers of all ages. The Grill Room at River Hills Golf Club overlooks the 9th hole and offers cozy indoor dining, enclosed patio dining, and outdoor seating under a trellised portico. Men's and women's locker rooms with showers are also on site.
