Retford Golf Club

Retford Golf Club is a parkland course in Ordsall, England, designed by Tom Williamson and opened in 1920. Its 18 holes play to a par of 71 across 5,500–6,196 yards, with oak-lined and tree-lined fairways, open areas with flowing undulations, and changes of level throughout the layout. Each hole carries a named identity — from Forest View at the 1st to The Gorge at the 11th and The Beeches at the 12th — giving the round a distinctive character rooted in its mature parkland setting. In 1924 the club hosted an event attended by Open Champion Arthur Havers. The course is semi-private and rated 4.7 by 70+ Hole19 golfers. The clubhouse bar is fully stocked with a kitchen and a sizable balcony overlooking the course and countryside. The pro shop carries equipment and clothing from Ping, Adidas, Footjoy, Titleist, Motocaddy, and TaylorMade, and undertakes repairs on all brands.
