Real Nuevo Club de Golf de San Sebastian Basozàbal

Real Nuevo Club de Golf de San Sebastian Basozàbal is an 18-hole private course in the Basque Country, Spain, designed by José María Olazábal and measuring 6,499 metres from the white tees. The layout uses natural terrain to full effect. A stream crosses the course, two lakes come into play, and the fairways carry pronounced undulations leading to moving, difficult greens. The amphitheater configuration gives the round a distinctive enclosed character. Hole 3 is narrow and winding, with a water hazard and three deep bunkers guarding an elevated green. Hole 5, the first par 5 and the highest point on the course, plays as a strong dog-leg right with bunkers on both sides. Hole 12 dog-legs left over a ravine, and hole 14 is described as the most difficult par three on the course. The club has hosted the European Legends Cup. Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, short game area, and golf lessons. The clubhouse has a restaurant with a daily menu and a special weekend menu, plus a bar for post-round drinks.
