Campo increíble! Están las calles y los cortes espectaculares. Y los greens cada vez mejor después del pinchado.

Precioso aunque complicado, este campo también tiene sus fallos. Está mal cuidado, casi siempre por sus usuarios que, no arreglan chuletas ni piques en los greenes. Y los fines de semana, al menos, por las mañanas, no puedes jugar 9 hoyos. Aunque los quieras jugar, tendrás que abonar los 18 hoyos, de lo cual se deduce que el ánimo de los gestores del campo es únicamente recaudatorio.

This is a bucket list course! The famous views of the world heritage site Monastery and Royal Residence of San Lorenzo de El Escorial from various holes do not disappoint. Fairways are well manicured if a little soft. Greens are very true. Bunkers are well filled and fluffy. There is only one water feature so this does not factor much. A huge attraction is the many pieces of forest lining the holes. Although a menace for mis-hit balls, the forests are gorgeous, filled with old trees and when i played in Oct dotted all around with purple wildflowers. I also loved the many fairways with single large trees in the middle, providing interesting approaches. Golfing visitors to Madrid should drop everything to play this course!
