Raleigh Country Club

Raleigh Country Club, a private 18-hole Donald Ross design in Raleigh, North Carolina, opened in 1948 and stretches to nearly 7,400 yards across rolling hills, barrancas, ponds, creeks, and natural drainage areas. It ranks in the Top 20 of the North Carolina Golf Panel's course list and has hosted the UNC Health Championship. Hole 6 is a 270-yard par 3 played from a restored Ross tee. Hole 16 offers what the club considers the best view on the course from 150 yards out. The finishing hole, 18, measures 498 yards from the Ross tees. The practice complex includes a large driving range with six target greens and bunkers built to USGA specifications, a 17,000-square-foot putting green, a small putting green beside the first tee, three chipping greens, and a 15-acre short-game area with simulated course situations. PGA professionals are available for private or group lessons and clinics. The clubhouse restaurant brings members together for casual post-round bites, Sunday night family dinners, themed dinners, and holiday celebrations.
