Description
Quail Run Golf Course, a public 18-hole layout in Columbus, Nebraska, plays between 5,200 and 7,200 yards, giving golfers a wide range of tee options across the same routing. The course opened in 1991 along the Loup River corridor, where towering cottonwoods line the layout and the ground traces the path of the Old Mormon Trail. That history and natural framing give the course a distinct character without relying on manufactured features. A 20-station driving range is available at $10 flat or $3 for a warm-up before a round. Two PGA professionals are on site offering individual range sessions and playing lessons. The pro shop carries major golf club brands, rental sets, balls, gloves, and University of Nebraska clothing and accessories.
