Hole 9 at Proctor Pittsford Country Club is regarded as arguably the hardest par-3 in Vermont, and hole 13 carries the number-one handicap on the course. Hole 16 is considered the toughest par-4. Those three holes frame a semi-private, 18-hole layout in Pittsford, Vermont, that plays to par 70 over 6,048 yards. The course dates to 1928 and runs through tree-lined holes with sand bunkers, ponds, and elevated greens, set against Green Mountains views. Golf instruction is available on site. Redfield's Bar & Grill is open to the public, serving a full menu and bar from 9 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday, 7 am to 8 pm Saturdays, and 7 am to 7 pm Sundays.
