Description
Priors Hall Golf Course was opened in 1967 by Tony Jacklin and designed by Fred Hawtree, one of Britain's most respected golf course architects. Hawtree's layout features wide fairways with generous light-rough margins, making it well suited to larger groups. The challenge is still very much present, though: 58 sand bunkers, water hazards, mature trees, and areas of thick rough combine to create a genuine test across all 18 holes. Stretching to 6,677 yards off the back tees with a par of 72, the course is open to all on a pay-and-play basis or via a season ticket.
