Prince of Wales Country Club

Prince of Wales Country Club is an 18-hole layout in La Reina, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile, stretching to 6,904 yards across around 110 acres with a par of 72. The holes run as returning nines, each closing with a par five whose green sits on either side of a small lake in front of the clubhouse. On the front nine, the par-three 4th in the southeast corner plays to a heavily bunkered green, while the slightly right-doglegging par-four 8th offers perhaps the best birdie opportunity of the outward half. The back nine raises the stakes. The 15th, the longest of the par threes, measures more than 220 yards from the tips and is a genuine test of precision. The round ends with the left-bending 18th, where water guards the front right of the home green — a tough finish that demands a composed approach.
