Primm Valley Golf Club (Desert) opened in 1998 as a counterpart to the resort's Lakes Course, offering a distinctly different experience across 18 holes of desert-style layout. Designed by Tom Fazio, this par 72 stretches to 7,131 yards and draws its character from the surrounding landscape — palm, mesquite, and a wide variety of cacti frame the route throughout. The course presents a genuine test of precision. Fairways run narrow, greens are well-bunkered, and water comes into play on five holes. Together with the Lakes Course, it forms a two-course resort where Fazio's design philosophy runs through both layouts, combining natural desert scenery with pro-caliber challenge.
