Poona Club Golf Course is an 18-hole layout spread across 95 to 100 acres in the heart of Pune, Maharashtra, and is widely acknowledged as one of India's top five courses. The course is dotted with majestic banyan trees and flowering trees, and is well regarded for its water bodies and fast, true greens — qualities that draw professional golfers from across the country. It holds the distinction of being the only 18-hole course situated within the city itself. With nearly a thousand members, the club is active throughout the year, hosting around 40 tournaments annually. These include the Maharashtra Open as well as national events for men, women, juniors, and seniors conducted under the aegis of the Indian Golf Union.

Nicholas YelvingtonMay 15, 2022Very challenging course. Short but very narrow and trees come into play on many of the holes, even shaping shots around them on par 3’s depending on pin location. Impressive they fit an entire 18 hole course in the city. The staff are helpful and caddies sit around in the parking lot waiting for work. Kind of hit or miss whether you get a good one. For 9 holes tip about 300₹ and 18 holes 600₹ depending on the quality of your caddie.

Junia FengMay 31, 2018Very beautiful Golf Course, well maintained. It’s difficult to fine information on the club website. This maybe the only golf course in Pune which is open for guest, I paid 2150 INR for the green fee, Candy costs extra, depends on the Candy, not sure what is the regular fee for Candy. Stuffs are friendly. Green conditions are good, fairways are well, dry and narrow. Club Present is very kind and helpful. Poona GC is a walking club, it is not possible to rent a Golf cart. There are a lot of candy available at the entrance of the club. Make sure to handle the preise before take one. They cost around 300 INR per 18 Holes.
