Ponte Vedra Inn & Club (Ocean)

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club (Ocean) has been part of the Ponte Vedra Beach golfing landscape since 1928, when the club introduced the first course to the region. Today, the area is recognized as one of the golf capitals of the East Coast. The 18-hole Ocean Course plays as a par-71 and captures the essence of a modern seaside design. Meandering lagoons, undulating fairways, and elevated Bermuda greens protected by steep-faced bunkers combine with a prevailing sea breeze to demand all 14 clubs. Newly designed green complexes and strategically placed bunkers have been rebuilt and reconfigured with an emphasis on strategy, aesthetics, and maintainability. On the turf side, TifEagle Ultradwarf bermudagrass covers the greens, Celebration bermudagrass the fairways, and TifGrand bermudagrass the tees. Broad swaths of non-turf screening areas reduce irrigated rough while adding visual contrast and strategic value throughout the layout.
