Pomme de Terre Golf Club

Pomme de Terre Golf Club has been a fixture of the Morris, Minnesota community since its founding in 1923 as a nine-hole facility. Over the decades it served as more than just a golf course, at one point hosting a supper club and swimming pool on the grounds. In April 2006, a group of local businessmen purchased the property and set about revitalizing it. The course was expanded to 18 holes, designed by Joel Goldstrand, with the new layout opening in September 2007. A 3,500 square foot clubhouse was added, featuring a fully stocked pro shop and snack bar, along with cart paths and a range of other improvements. In 2011, the community took ownership by purchasing the course and forming a cooperative governed by a Board of Directors, cementing its place as a community-driven club that Morris can call its own.
