Platteville Golf Country Club

A popular round among Hole19 golfers in Wisconsin, Platteville Golf Country Club is an 18-hole public course in Platteville, Wisconsin, United States, that has been in play since 1921. The layout works across hills with bunkers, ponds, trees, and sloped greens throughout. Hole 5, the longest hole on the course, is a par five with out of bounds down the left side. Hole 8 is a short par four played downhill with a pond to the right of the fairway. A driving range opened on a portion of land in 2006. Pete Reif, P.G.A., offers private lessons on site, and junior instruction is available under Brandon Temperly. The clubhouse has seen three major additions since it was built in 1956. The pro shop was updated in January 2017. The on-site restaurant and bar, 7 Hills on the Course, serves starters, hearty mains, and local craft brews; the bar area was updated in winter of 2016.
