GolfWeek ranked it #1 resort course in Texas and #46 in the US in 2018, #1 course to play in Texas in 2018, and #1 course in Texas from 2010–2012 and again from 2014–2018. Golf Magazine listed it as an honorable mention among top courses you can play, and Golf Channel named it the #1 hidden gem in America. The course has its own driving range. Pine Dunes plays to par 72 across 18 holes.
