Pickala Golf (Forest) is the most outward-lying of three 18-hole courses spread across Pickala's 200-hectare golf complex in Uusimaa, Finland. Completed in 2004, it rounds out the trio with a character all its own. The course moves through rolling terrain lined by mature trees, giving it a sense of seclusion that sets it apart from Pickala's other layouts. The back nine in particular draws praise — the fairways wind through quiet woodland where the pace and atmosphere feel entirely removed from the outside world. Plan for at least four hours. The Forest course rewards patience from the very first hole, and the round is never truly decided until the 18th is played.
