Philadelphia Cricket Club (Wissahickon)

Rated among the most admired private courses in Pennsylvania on Hole19, Philadelphia Cricket Club (Wissahickon) is an A.W. Tillinghast design that opened in 1922 and has earned recognition as the #2 Short Course in the United States. The club has twice hosted the U.S. Open Championship, in 1907 and 1910. The 18-hole layout is private, located in Pennsylvania. Practice options are extensive: a two-tiered driving range includes short game, irons-only, and instruction areas alongside dozens of grass hitting stations, with a dedicated short game area as well. The clubhouse restaurant occupies a tastefully converted Pennsylvania farmhouse and offers classical pre- or post-golf dining from a brick patio overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green. The Tillinghast Room's fireplace provides an additional dining venue.
